Baška – hiking trails
Baška is situated in the southeast part of the island, it is unique and hidden among the mountain slopes and it has more than 90 kilometers of marked hiking trails. When you wočč walk on these paths, you will certainly be fascinated by the breathtaking views of the majestic Velebit, the island Prvić with its lighthouse, Rab, Cres and Grgur. If you enjoy active holidays then Baška is a perfect fit. Here is also located the highest point of the island, Obzova with 570 meters above sea level. The island of Krk in the southeastern part is also known for its hilly terrain. Baska is definitely the most suitable destination on the island, which can be operated interesting hiking trails. You can opt for a variety of minor or more serious hiking trips.
Our favorite hike was definitely Bay Vela and Mala Luka. If you like to explore, enjoy the beautiful views, watch the animals and be surprised about the variety of paths, which you walk on, then I recommend that you go from Baška to the bay of Vela Luka, and a little bit around. Of course, we went to the highest peak on the island of Krk – Obzova. If you want to conquer the highest peak, then surely you go on the path and join the animal kingdom, such as sheep, lizards, spiders, eagles and other mountain creatures.
