Apartments Bartol – Šilo, Island Krk
In the context of writing a tour guide about Island Krk, me and my colleague visited Šilo. Now days the touristic Šilo, used to be a small fishing village which is located on the east coast of the island. We decided that during our time there, we will stay in apartments Bartol, which are about 250 meters away from the city center, shops and restaurants and about 300 meters from the beach. When we arrived to the apartments Bartol we were kindly welcomed by a very nice and friendly lady Marija Bartol and her husband Boris. They invited us for a drink to the lower terrace, which is surrounded by beautiful plants of lavender, various tips of plants and different kinds of trees and flowers. Spouse make sure that they provide a pleasant and aromatic atmosphere around their apartment with a variety of different plants, which immediately got my attention. With a smile on her face, Marija decided to make me a bouquet made of plants from her garden, which smelled wonderful in the apartment for the whole week.

The house has renovated and beautifully decorated apartments. You can rent apartments for 3-4 persons (2 + 2). Each apartment has satellite TV, air conditioning and Wi-Fi. The greatest charm definitely has the apartment with a large terrace, from which the view extends to the sea and the Crikvenica Riviera. In front of the apartment you have a parking space and there is also an outdoor grill. If you would like to bring your pets please discuss this with the owner first. Šilo is dog friendly town with its own doggie beach. In the apartment they also have 2 bicycles which can be rented in order to explore this beautiful place.
Marija is trying to regulary maintain her apartments and makes sure that guest feels very comfortable and like at home. f you have any questions, her door is always open and I am sure that she will help you in the best way she can.
